This is the last of a storm front that slowly passed the Sunshine Coast this past weekend dumping an extrordinary 360mms of rain overnight and causing major flooding in Cooroy and Noosa and many other parts of the coast.
I love the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in the wintertime or after rain, it has a real moody feel to it. :)
I headed up to the Sunshine Coast yesterday morning for the sunrise. When I left home it was clear, by the time I got to Caloundra it was pouring and it really didn't stop until I was nearly home. This was the best I could do. I hope you like it. Taken at Coolum Cove.
