I have just come back from spending a few days with friends out in beautiful Moreton Bay. This shot was taken from a boaties safe haven called Tiger Mullet. We moored here for several days spending time at popular places on South Stradbroke Island called Millionaires and the Bedrooms. Both these locations are popular with boaties and jetskiers alike. This island is not bridged therefore the only way to get here is by boat. The beaches are pristine and its a great place to bring your family. The smoke on the horizon was from the dreadful fire that was burning on North Stradbroke Island.
It's a hard life sometimes. I was invited to go out with friends on their boat on the weekend. We headed to a Place called Millionaires on South Stradbroke Island where we swam most of the day. Then late in the afternoon we motored over to a safehaven called Tiger Mullet in Moreton Bay (don't ask me why it's called that, I have no idea). As we were having our Sundowner drinks this awesome sky appeared before us.
This rain squall formed over North Stradbroke Island while we were at Horseshoe Bay on Peel Island. It headed west and completely missed us.
