Lake Dunn Sculpture Trail

The Lake Dunn Sculpture Trail is located at Amarac in the Central West of Queensland and is definitely worth doing. Aramac is located approx 65 kms from Barcaldine, once you get to Aramac the trail will take approx 5-6 hours to complete comfortably. The trail is only partially bitumen so please check before you weather details before you head off. All the sculptures (except for one) are done by a local by the name of Mylinda Rogers and they are all incredible, please check her webpage listed below. At this point in time there are 40 sculptures and I have purposely omitted some so that if you do plan to go you will get some surprises :) Mylinda makes all the sculptures from old bits n bobs that she has picked up along the way. Lake Dunn itself is about half way along the trail, there are amenities here and make sure you bring some lunch and cold drinks with you.
