Lakes and Dams
Read MoreThis lone tree on the edge of Lake Wyeba on the sunshine Coast is becoming more and more famous. I've never shot it before so when I went to the sunshine Coast this week for a break I decided that it was a must shoot. While I didn't get any gorgeous sunrise clouds I was grateful to be there in the peace and quiet listening to the bird song as they woke to another glorious day. I was a wonderful way to begin the day.
LD 27 Crazy Clouds over Moogerah
I just love Moogerah Dam. Every single time I go there I come away happy - not only beause I always get amazing images here but because it always gives me a sense of peace and calm and serenity. These Clouds yesterday was just wonderful, there were also fires nearby creating a smoky haze in the sky too

Moogerah Dam certainly put on a show for me last Saturday afternoon. when I arrived a storm was looming, there were Mammatus clouds, and moody skies. At one point I just didn't know where to point my camera as the scene was changing so quickly before my eyes. One minute it was storming and I was getting drenched and the next the sun was setting. It was certainly an adventurous afternoon I even thought I was bogged but thankfully got myself out of it.
